Democrats Introduce Employee Free Choice Act

The legislation was introduced in the House of Representatives by Rep. George Miller (D-Calif.) along with 222 cosponsors. The bill has been referred to the House Committee on Education and Labor.

Tom Harkin (D-Iowa) who proclaimed that “[J]ust as the National Labor Relations Act, the 40 hour week and the minimum wage helped to pull us out of the Great Depression and into a period of unprecedented prosperity, so too will the Employee Free Choice Act help reinvigorate our economy.”
