Stephen E. Arthur

Stephen Arthur is a Partner, member of the Firm’s Litigation Services Group and Appellate Law Group, and chair of the Firm’s Ethics Committee.  Stephen has handled hundreds of litigation and appellate matters in Indiana state and federal courts, including the United States Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and U.S. Military Courts.  He represents companies and individuals in the litigation and appeal of business and tort matters, estate and probate matters, drug and patent infringement, and real estate disputes.
Stephen is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and Board Certified as a Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.  He authors several treatises on federal and Indiana civil trial practice and procedure. Stephen received the 2014 Civility Award from the Litigation Section of the Indiana State Bar Association.
Stephen was a Captain and Judge Advocate in the United States Marine Corps, and a Law Clerk to former Chief Justice Richard M. Givan of the Indiana Supreme Court.
